    I feed grain free, and give him LAMB as training treat (he has a higher toy drive than food drive).

    He also likes apples, carrots, and taters.

    I cut out the rawhide bones and give him a NYLABONE in the evenings to satisfy his chewing cravings.

    What do you treat/train your animals with?

    commercial dog snacks, egg yolks, steak trimmings, chicken skin, any meat in the fridge which is beyond human consumable.

    :rofl:

    Thanks, I started this thread to get some alternative ideas to change things up treat wise.

    How long does it take to get a replacement?

    Milkbones to clean the teeth, although the current Boxer just inhales them.

    She likes to get about 8 feet away from me and have me throw them to her and she catches them in her mouth and GULP.

    My hounds tend to get some commercially bought treats each week as well as some leftover food along the way. They're both healthy according to the vet. No matter what comes along, my K-9s will be treated as well as I know how.

    Peperoni is his favorite treat. I also give him some commercial treats.

    Hello;

    I really hate not having a dog around, but I work too many hours right now, But my GF has a little terrier, that has become part of the family, anyways.

    Give you're dog some Beef Heart (This Organ Meat is very good for dogs), Liver, and Fish Oil, along with a good Knuckle bone.

    That's the Good stuff.

    Well when I was training my boxer I used that log stuff that they sell at the pet stores it looks like a salami stick and you cut it into slices , cant remember the name ?
    Now that she knows eveything she needs to know I give her treats randomley not always dog treats though she likes fresh sliced lunch meat from the deli counters and cheese when I make my lunch for work . She always shares my peanut butter toast with me in the mornings though , my girlfriend is always giving her oranges , apples , sweet potatos , carrots all sorts of natural stuff thats good for her .

    They get bacon grease in their chow on occasion. They alway get carrots in their dinner. I think they got some leftover ahi tuna tonight though.

    My dogs love those dried chicken breasts. They also love the pigs ears stuffed with sweet potato.
