what do you carry?

At the risk of sounding like the "newbie" I am... I'd like to ask all the women that conceal-carry: what is your conceal weapon of choice?

I know what I like at the range...but I'm looking for something much smaller for CCW. :)

Currently I carry my 65LS. It is a bit heavy, but I really love it and it shoots so nice. I purse carry, which makes it a bit easier. I was carrying on my hip, but the belt and holster I currently have just don't work out. I'm hoping some extra cash will come in so I can get a nice wilderness belt and a Tucker Revolver Texas Heritage. It's the holster I use now, but the current holster is hubby's and fits his longer barreled revolver.

Oh, my purse is a Coronado Sonoma Carry Case. I LOVE it. I know that some people are very against purse carry, but it's the best choice for me right now. :)

I carry (nearly) every single day, and generally it's a Kahr PM9 because it's light and small. I use an IWB holster, appendix-carry.

I'm a pretty big gal and the gun I like to shoot and carry is my Glock G30, but I have to pay more attention to my wardrobe. When I carry that, it's an IWB at 4:00. If I could open-carry, it would be that Glock exclusively.

I know c-mama and many others on Women's Issues purse-carry, but I wouldn't normally recommend it, nor do the police. They are very easily "snatched" or set down and left unattended.

Ya gotta love c-mama though - she puts all those links in her post for your convenience. :) ;)

Thanks for the wonderful information...and, yes, the links inside the messages are greatly appreciated. I love the pic of the gun in the yarn basket. I also knit, crochet and cross-stitch...so I found that amusing.

Thanks again for the great replies.

:) I love photography, but am not very good at it. But I try to, every once in a while, combine my 2 loves - revolvers and yarn/crochet.

I do wish we could carry here. :sigh: We'll keep plugging away from the "inside" til we retire someplace else I get. Pretty pics, Deb. :hearts:

Before I got to the point that I couldn't wear a belt anymore... I carried a G26 IWB at about 3:30 or so or a KelTec P32 IWB using a clip holster for nicer dress.

Right now I carry the P32 in my front pocket when I can but even that's getting progressively more difficult.

Wow, the responses have been very helpful. There appears to be such a wide range of preferences, but I've actually picked up a few new ideas.

Thank you, ladies... you've all been a big help.
