What do you carry your G30 / 30SF in?

I am curious only because I have been struggling with this for some time - those of you who carry a G30 or 30SF (NOT a "30S"), WHAT are you carrying it in?

I find IWB carry uncomfortable, plus with the added bulk of the 30, that does not help matters any either. :(

I've mainly been trying to work with OWB carry to try and find something that works "for me".

    Thanks -

    Eric

Alien Gear 3.0, Badger Concealment, Remora, DeSantis Cozy Partner, and last but not least my Glock Sport holster. Unfortunately, they're all IWB except the Glock holster. I find I use the $35 Badger Concealment the most. It's Kydex, has a single large belt clip, tucks and secures in my pants easily, and retains my 30 very well.

It's a thick gun for OWB.

I carried one for a few years in a Garrity Inconspicuous.

Get the nine round mag. Practice with it. I bought 2. It will help with concealment. All you really have to deal with is the back of the slide.

I know but it carries great. I'd rather have the 10 rounders in there myself. But I carry with the 9.

When you try inside the waistband you need to be wearing pants that are a couple of inches bigger in the waist and pair that with a good thick belt for support. Most of the people that claimed they couldn't carry IWB were trying to do it with their regular snug fitting pants. Remember you have to dress around the gun.

I use a remora holster with a reinforced opening, inside the waistband, for the G30SF or G29SF, with an untucked shirt. It's comfortable, and stays put.

Carried my G29 in a PJ Holster with a 25 degree forward cant. Worked great. Didn't notice much of a difference between the G29 and my G19.

I just prefer a paddle for all my .45ACP's......including the 30S which does not fit in G23 holsters.

I use these depending what I'm doing or where um going. F3 appendix carry, stealthgear onyx, or a good ole glock sport combat holster.

I carry my 30 in a Simply Rugged Cuda holster. Great hoster at a great price.

I carry IWB with G30 model-specific Galco Stow-n-Go, at about 4 o'clock. Being a center-cut suede leather with only one belt clip, it adds little to the extra girth or weight of the G30 and is soft and comfortable even when cinched up by a 1.5 inch "instructor" type belt. I've grown so accustomed to this minimalistic arrangement that I carry a G19 in one, also, when I deviate from my G30 occasionally (I really like my G19, also, but find I really LOVE the G30/.45) . This keeps things consistent for me from GLOCK to GLOCK. Another thing about this holster is that, even though it's a strapless holster, it has a good retention due to the clinginess of the suede and doesn't feel like the weapon is going to slip up and out of it, but doesn't hamper the draw. Plus, it's quiet on the draw, too, if and when that might be a tactical issue.

I have the 30s, & used to use my glock 19 holster, as it fit perfectly. But i began to experiment, & came upon this combo:

The slide clip provides a sturdy fasten to belt or pants, while the trigger cover provides safety. I tried just the trigger guard, but it would droop or fall down the pants! Even with the tether, there was too much fiddling with myself.. :/

I don't always carry the 30s, but this is my favorite combo for it.
