What do you carry in your IFAK/blowout kit

    In mine there is:
    quick clot
    4"Israeli bandage
    6" Israeli bandage
    CAT tourniquet
    several 4x4 gauze
    several 2x2 gauze
    tape
    sterile strips sutures several sizes
    folded wire splint
    6 10/650 hydro codon
    plus band aides and basic first aid supplies
    nasal air way
    intubation supplies including scope
    chest seal
    mine is advanced blowout kit I'm a Paramedic Ret.

    What's with the Israeli bandages you guys like so much?

    They work well when properly inplace. I also like how well they stay Inplace without tape.

    You have a very good trauma kit there dalton. I would check out the sof-t tourniquet. Much faster and stronger than the cat. Maybe pulse ox. Ditch the laryngascope and get a king lt or 2. ARS 14ga for ncd.
