Never paid attention to them until I saw a short clip of one on youtube. I always assumed they were just like the ones that came with factory glocks but these ones function a little differently, plus they fit different calibers and magazine sizes. However, $30 seems a bit steep for something similar that already comes with my glocks. Are they worth it if you are planning a long range trip and require a lot of magazine loading?

I bought one for my wife. It worked so well for her I bought another for myself. Highly recommended.

    +1

I think they're a luxury worth having, they make loading mags that bit more comfortable, especially for $30. Just saves time, especially when you load a few hundred rounds throughout a shoot - which adds to more time on the range.

The lulaloader for my AR is indispensable. I would like to get a maglula since the springs are pretty tight in my .40 mags. I do like them.

I love them. Even though I always forget them at home and end up loading my mags manually at the range.:embarassed:

(It make waaaaay too much sense to just leave them in my range bag.)

You can probably find cheaper at your local Academy or Dicks, but that said, I love these. Go to any steel or IPDA match where you have to load hundreds of rounds into mag after mag and you'll see where your money went.

Both are great. I liked them so much I bought one more of each. Now I have a set for home and a set that stays in the range bag because I kept forgetting them also.

They are worth their weight in gold

I have a non- gun owning buddy who I shoot with once or twice a month. We bring about 100-250 rnds each. I also bring a couple diffent kinds of guns SIG's, Walthers ,double stack magazines , single stack , old mag springs and new

the uplula loads all the magazines I have , for a new guy it saves alot of time trying to load the 14- 15th round in a 15rd magazine and it saves me grief of worrying if he us bending the feed lips, your thumbs will really appreciate the uplula after the 70th rnd

if you shoot alot you appreciate it more and more

Totally agree. I don't have any trouble hand loading 100+ rounds into my 6-round G36 clips, however for my double-stack 9mm PX4 by round 5 my fingers are already hurting. The UpLula is a fantastic little device; I've got a couple different hand-me-down speed loaders and this one is by far the easiest to use.

My uplula magazine loader is an indispensable gun accessory. I wouldn't tade it away ever. I can load my (very) stiff spring .40 cal mags in less than half the time it takes doing it normally, and it saves my fingers! Love it, love it, looooooove it!

I've got a half dozen loaders for different magazines and still not enough to fit all my magazines. It would be very handy to have a single loader to fit everything.

Getting the last 4-5 rounds in a few magazines I have, without a loader,
    is damned near impossible.

I have to look into that loader. It would pay for itself in one day loading magazines for 3-4 people shooting.

If that loader can be used to load UZI, Thompson and Grease Gun magazines I may get two.

If your going to be shooting a lot it saves on your thumb. It a bit easier with that one over the standsrd loaders.

Indeed it is. "Clip" is ingrained in me from all my childhood wargames, it just pops out of my fingers.
