I woke up, took a a shower and hopped on GT for about 5 minuets.
    Went to lunch at subway.

Then came home and cleaned the pine needles out of the gutters and finished taking the christmas lights down.

Mulched the leaves in our yard with the mower.

Hooked the suburban up to an old evergreen stump that I had cut down about 2 years ago. Pulled that out of the ground.

The fiance planted tulips and rearanged her flower bed. Getting the ground ready for out garden.

Took my boy to the park to play for a while, had ice cream afterwords.

Went up to alco to pick up a hard tooth rake and a ball glove and ball for my boy. I also got a new sun tea pitcher and made some good sun tea.

Also enjoyed beer and lemonaid today.

Had a long day. How about you?

2nd day of landscaping for the wife and I. Ripped out landscaping timbers previous owner had used for flowerbeds (3 deep in the ground!!) Ripped out a bunch of bushes we didn't want around the house anymore.

Replaced flowerbeds with edging stones. Placed boxwood shrubs around sides and front of house. Ran soaker hoses. Layed down 15 bags of pine bark nuggets. Have a few more boxwoods that we need to plant, and a few more bags of pine bark nuggets we need to buy, but other than that it looks pretty good!

I'm freaking exhausted from it! Now if I could just get the weeds in the yard under control, our yard would look pretty dang good.

Drank beer, mowed the lawn, moved some dirt around, fed the ducks, sat on the front porch (aka driveway).

I also spent some time fixing the mower because I like to run over concealed tree stumps.

Took my 2 youngest (9 and 5) to the park and then hiked a small trail with them.. grabbed a drink at Sonic and sat in rocking chairs in the shade to enjoy them.

    A great day!

It was nice today, I sat outside and wished that more houses still had front porches and fewer people stayed inside and watched T.V.

It only rained part of the day today.
Yesterday I collected limbs from the storms a few weeks ago... put some more Christmas lights away... and then mowed. Then sneezed. A lot.

Yesterday was our nice day, I went to the gunshow and then came home and changed the planter in front from railroad tie borders to landscape brick.

Today I took a friend to the range for about 3 hours.

    It was a good weekend:supergrin:

Lilwolfess, her boyfriend, and my dad and I went shooting. We did some penetration/ expansion tests with waterlogged phone books. We had alot of fun. If you have enough phone books you can stop a 12ga slug...

Maybe you will get a writeup with some pic's latter...

My wife is not much of a shopper but she is/was in need of some spring blouses so I said come on, we're going to get you some new blouses. So we spent a couple hours before coming home with 1 blouse. She ordered from LL Bean for the rest.

Church-Bible study-walked my 3 female dogs one at a time.

Then I cooked them up a nice steak for their dinner.

    They are really spoiled.
