Speaking about SF‚s new law requiring gun owners to
keep their handguns locked up, S.F. District Attorney
    Kamala Harris said,

"Just because you legally possess a gun in the
sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're
not going to walk into that home and check to see if
you're being responsible and safe in the way that you
    conduct your affairs,"

Sure, officer, you can come in as long as you have a warrant. Wow. Shocking to hear about these Gestapo techniques.

I hate living so close to SF. Such a bunch of idiots running that town. It's just my opinion. And here I thought Nazi Kalifornia, the bay area more so, couldn't get any worse.

Kinda sounds a lot like the Washington DC firearm storage law.

Which is apart of the Parker v DC case currently being appealed to SCOTUS.

If SCOTUS strikes down the DC gun ban/law than it can be used as a primer to appeal all other firearm legislation in the country.

That's why it will never happen. At best SCOTUS will refuse to hear the case, at worst they will reaffirm their reading of the 2nd Amendment to apply to the National Guard and not an individual RKBA.

It really upsets me to watch this video which was provided within the link. People in San Francisco have such a warped view of safety and responsibility that they do not even have a a clue as to what the true value of freedom and liberty is. This mindset is a disgrace .

If you listen to Senator Charles Schummer (D-NY) whinning, he thinks SCOTUS is leaning to a 5-4 decision in favor of individual right.

I'm not sure you folks out west should be reading the Constitution. Hasn't the State of California determined that it contains substances known by the State to cause cancer? And it might promote individual responsibility and rights? And all sorts of crazy freedoms?!? I mean, you could talk, and think, and write, and do all sorts of crazy things!

They think they can come into your homes on a whim to check the locks on your guns they don't want you to have?

I think their freedom of speech is getting a little loopy, and you should insist that ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS subject themselves to inspection of ALL correspondance and voice mails, both on public and private PC's, cell phones, and other means, for everyone residing in their household. After inspecting their words, we will decide if they can continue to engage in their freedom of speech...

We'll need more than God to help us. She was on Obama's potential US Attorney General list :O thank God she didn't get picked. She's good looking I'll give her that, maybe she can move to Los Angelos and work as a fictional US Attorney General and only have to make fictional decisions about the constitution :supergrin::dunno:
