Odyssey of an Eavesdropper by Martin Kaiser. Kaiser got making surveillance and anti-surveillance gear in the '60s. He sold gear to all sorts of law enforcement and military agencies and achieved a reputation for supplying the best equipment. kaiser testified to Congress in the mid-seventies and pissed off the FBI who had been illegally bugging people for years.

Tom Kratman's "A State of Disobedience"

He wrote it in 2003. He may have predicted an Obama presidency?

Guests Of The Ayatollah The Iran Hostage Crisis: The First Battle in America's War with Militant Islam by Mark Bowden, the author of Blackhawk Down.

Mafia Kingfish: Carlos Marcello and the Assassination of John F. Kennedy by John H. Davis

An interesting read about a local mafia legend whose influence on Louisiana politics can still be seen to this day. Unfortunately, this book is out of print now. If you ever find a copy, pick it up!

Also on my nightstand: The Living Dead , a compilation of short stories about zombies edited by John Joseph Adams.

Some of the stories are okay, but not recommended as an entry to the zombie genre. For that, I'd recommend David Wellington's "Monster" trilogy or something by Max Brooks.

Just completed The Road by Cormac Mccarthy. Same guy who brought us No Country for Old Men. I could not put it down. Kept putting myself in the shoes of the man b/c I have a son just a little younger than the boy in the book. Made me think that is for sure!:wow:

    "Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies"

It takes 26 topics (A to Z) with all their sub topics and presents facts/statistics/studies supporting conservative principles. It also explains what the left would have you believe and why that view is wrong or inaccurate.

The new Vince Flynn. It's ok but definitely not as good as "Term Limits" or some of the others.
