i'm think about changing my slide back plate just to personalize it a little. i found this site http://www.ndzperformance.com/category-s/1831.htm

I debaiting on either just leaving it be, or buying one of these two

under Cartoons - The Thunder Cats symbol

    or

under Miscellaneous - The Pitbull symbol
A little history since they exactly opposite.

As a kid I loved the thunder cats

and Pitbulls have always held a special place in my heart.

I think its a good idea. I personally like the caliber logos more, but i dont think its worth the money for it.

I don't know? I like Pitbulls, too; but I don't think I want one on my Glock. Why? Well, imagine just how much more perfectly screwed George Zimmerman would be, right now, if he'd had some sort of glitzy or comic logo on his Kel-Tec. ........ Personally, I won't do anything to trivialize a self-defense weapon. It is what it is; and that's fine with me.

As far as I'm concerned putting something around the muzzle like, 'Smile!', 'Wait For Flash!' or, 'Make My Day!' is just asking for the DA to indite you at the first opportunity.

In the end, it's your pistol. I think many of the slide plate covers look 'cool' but who knows if any embellishment on your pistol would sway a DA/jury after a self-defense shooting. Not a chance I'm willing to take.

+1 If you like who cares. Not my cup of tea but who cares. Do anything you want to it, it's your coin not the people you are asking opinions of.

They have ones with the US ARMY star emblem. I think I may get one for each of my Glocks. I've never changed out a rear slide plate before. Is it easy?

Thank you all for you opinions some good valid points. However the second part to that question is which of the two, thundercats or pitbull was not yet answered this of ourse should I decide to change my plate.

I wouldn't do punisher its been overdone. Zombie killer not my style. So if I do it would be one of those two as they are "me"
Like I said they are exactly opposite

I'm not a cat guy but loved the thunder cats as a kid

I am a dog guy owning a blue pitbull

Dude, I've scoured the net for a thundercats coverplate. If you find one, PM me, because I want one too.

The guy who puts them out has a YouTube vid that shows how to do it. And all he used was a standard bic pen.

I can't make up my mind so for 20.00 plushipping i'm buying both. Since CC is basically not existent in NJ i'm not worried about using it in a self defense situation. Unless someone gets through the alarm and and a pit who is going through personal protection training.

So this firearm for me is really for sport shooting.
