I'm going from a C#m to G7. I like the twang it has. I'm trying to find another chord to fit in there. I'm using the E7 and Am barred on 3 and 4 respectively.;c

I'm currently trying to figure this out. The Piano break from Layla by Eric Clapton.

This is a version played by Mike Fulton of Fulltone Effects.
He is using a '57 Strat, into a Echoplex, into a '65 Princeton Reverb. It doesn't get much sweeter than that.

I'd love to figure out the piano portion of that break.

I got "Tangled Up in Blue" down, but I can't play guitar and play the harmonica at the same time with one of those head gear thingys. The current song I am working on is "Heart of the Sunrise" by Yes. That opening run they do is killing me.

bob dylan is one of my favorites.
his earlier stuff is so much better.
he regained some of my respect with
    "love and theft"
but anything else is just, well, if it was mine, id be ashamed.

I still have the Blues for you by Gary Moore. A smooth but fairly complex song.

My band plays a lot of drop-D...

I have a really tight song called "Butterflies" that I play standard-tuning, but I feel like the "heavy" parts just aren't... "heavy" enough. So I'm working on getting this bad boy to hurt a little more.

The band is prepping for our first demo. We have 5 songs right now and we've spent the last 2 weeks tweaking every single second of each song to get them exactly how we want 'em for recording. Studio fees, unfortunately, ain't cheap.
