We all know Glocks are great guns out of the box, but some people like to mod them to their preferences. I personally wouldn't change much besides the extend slide stop lever and Night Sights on my Glocks, but I will have one Glock that I will mod the hell out of, but thats my choice.

What did you's guys do to your Glocks? Pictures would be appreciate :wavey:!

Here is what I have done to my 23.

    • Trijicon Green Night Sights (installed by Glock)
    • Extended Mag Release (sanded down a little)
    • Polished barrel end
    • Polished some internals (to try and smooth the trigger a little)
    • White lettered the slide (got bored one day and it started growing on me) - Crayon Method

    My plans

    • Try the 3.5lb trigger
    • Extended Slide Release
    • 40x9 Lone Wolf Conversion Barrel (for the range)

Added: I might have to get the barrel soon. My uncle just dropped off about 1k 9mm. He was cleaning out some of his reloads and thought I had a G17 :wow:

You got some beauties there... I don't think I'm the only one, but I think the Glocks are awesome looking, some think they're ugly...

WHAT!! :rofl:Your uncles awesome, he just saved you at least $200, so get the barrel with the money you saved

I'm going to keep my Glocks stock for the most part, just some needed mods IMO will be done.

I have a Glock 34 that I use at the range and in competition. I have a Glock 26 that I use for a CCW. I've tried to make them as much the same as I can. The 34 has a lighter trigger than the 26 but I have not and likely will not change the trigger on the 26. In the event I have to use it in self defense I don't need some lawyer saying I was irresponsible. The 34 comes with an extended slide release and mag release. I've added the extended slide release to the 26, the flat one that comes with it is horrible, but won't do the mag release. I don't find it necessary. In fact I had to sand down all the edges on the mag release on my 34. I have installed TruGlo TFO sights on both guns. I have also installed Talon Grips on both. I've also installed an Insight WX-150 weapon light on the 34.

Thats sounds good... yea, for a CCW Glock IMO should stay close to stock besides the entended slide stop lever and night sights. A lighter trigger pull could be a problem and a extended mag release could release your mag in the holster, and could cause major problems if you ever needed to use it in a situation. I don't know whether or not I want the G34 or the G35 for home defense.

Whatever they come with, I usually run on the gun.

My preferred mods are Dawson rear sights + Novak fiber front sights; extended slide stop/release and either a +, or a - connector.

Also 90% of my subcompact and compact guns have smooth face triggers instead of the factory serrated ones.

The first mod everyone should do is to get rid of those cheap plastic sights.

My Glocks all start with the same three mods. Steel front sight(I had a plastic one fly off), ext. slide release(much easier to manipulate), and a trigger job with ghost rocket. These are the mods that really make the Glock work for me. I may do other mods depending on what the gun is meant for, but they all get these three.
