If I witness an officer tie off a traction splint, that would be awesome.

I saw that same little article printed on a plaque in Taegu, Korea in the 1986, only substitute military policemen.

Policemen are made up of about 99% oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. Also, less than 1% of potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium.

Because they're regular ****ing people. Stop trying to deify them.

"Sysadmin bunnies". That's funny right there! I don't care who you are! (Cue Larry the Cable Guy).

Its okay, there are plenty of police wives for the taking.

I'll stop short of going for a low blow here and recommend that you pick another topic.

Eh, my wife is a retired cop. Computer geeks aren't her type.

    You asked for it.

    Apparently you aren't either.

There might not be an abundance of 'sysadmin bunnies' in the world, but I had my fair share of women until I met the woman I'm with now and have had 6 amazing years with so far. And, ironically, she finds it very sexy when I do my job, even sexier when I school other people during the course of my job. Although, to be fair, she finds it sexy when I do just about anything...Not bad after 6+ years.

Anyways, I digress. The point is, you come talk to me about women when you become capable of keeping one happy. Until then, stick to your prison inmates.

Yeah, ok. Been married almost 19 years, thru good times and bad. Some random dude in Florida making internet comments doesn't really get under my skin.

"A" for effort, "F" for content.

Lol, just realized something. The post you quoted - the reference to her wanting me "out" means "a career other than law enforcement". I hope you're better at your real job, than at posting relevant quotes.

For the record, our marriage has never been better. My wife is a stay-at-home mother to our four kids, and the various stresses that were around when she was a cop are no longer there. That means I don't have to worry about her getting shot, we don't have to worry about her retarded work schedule, childcare is no longer a problem, and since she was able to get approved for a line-of-duty retirement, the financial burden isn't entirely on me.

But, good job, staying in one relationship for a whole six years. My children are all well past that age, and we've been together almost 20.

As to the topic of the thread - sorry chicks don't fall to their knees for technoweenies. It's not our fault chicks dig a guy in uniform.

Don't worry, there's still hope. Plenty of agencies around the country are hiring.

The anti-LE gallery never fails to deliver.
What they lack in quality they make up for in rigid consistency/predictably. :bluesbrothers:

What the haters can't stand, is the indisputable fact that even fatty Sarge above gets play from the badge bunnies. It burns them up.

I was starting off slow. I can keep going if you'd like? Your posts in cop talk and the Okie Corral are like a chronicle of your failings with your partner and your self-loathing.

Even if I had a desire to take a giant pay cut to tangle with crackheads and degenerates every day, seeing the man it has turned you, and others, into on Glocktalk would dissuade me.

If I had a dollar for every wanna-be tough guy running his suck about my wife / kids/ lack of education /how he was gonna beat my ass / etc I'd be able to retire. The anti-cop morons here are even less impressive. Yawn.

Anyways, back on track, maybe is a bit too strong of a word as I'm having a hard time describing myself. Lets go with something easier to support: "Stop trying to make them superhuman."

As this thread demonstrates, they're as much of screw ups as the rest of us, if not more. Go post your cop spam in Cop Talk where it belongs.
