What are Patches?

    I know how they look like but I haven't seen one in person nor have I used one. Is there a local equivalent for these?

    Are you referring to patches used for cleaning barrels? You can substitute paper towels or just cut out your old cotton shirts and use those instead.

    Ditto on batagueno, just get an old cotton shirt. Ang importante yung solvent.

    Punta ka SM, sa buttons & threads section. Bili ka nung sinisksik sa kwelyo ng mga sastre para tumigas. Available in 3 different thickness yata. The medium one works really well at P5 per meter yata. Yung binili ko 2 years ago hanggang ngayon meron pa. ;)

    try the leather type chamois, cut it in strips ( the towel you use to clean your car)
