Blue label pricing sure why not , but you gotta take a pay cut to the same wage a rookie policeman makes

Every profession, vocation, job, or other group of people has at least a few people like this. Except, maybe, Tiger Kings.

They are the most assaulted, the first line of the drug seekers. While the rest carry a lesser degree of risk.

Being a F.A.G. I don’t think me or my POGUE ilk should get blue label pricing.

But, excellent points were made that judges and military don’t really need it. Judges never put the habeus grabbus on anyone and military members are provided weapon by the military.

You are correct. I don't put you on a pedestal. It's a job. A normal job. I mean if occasional danger I as an HVAC go into bad neighborhoods at night with thousands of dollars of tools. And occasionally have to shut off peoples furnaces. Should I get it too?

You're not a combat type of job, get over yourself.

No need to make it personal. And I never asked to be put on a pedestal.

    Thanks for your input.

My dad did the exact same job for 23 years. Thousands of dollars of tools and having to go on calls east side of Cleveland, not to mention Akron ans was always alone. Had some close calls. Your damn right he carried, that was years before ccw.

Guess who has two thumbs, and doesn’t do ambulances?

Maybe this group will get first responder status and become eligible for the Blue Label program.

I disagree on Judges (and Prosecutors, even though not mentioned). They are directly responsible for who goes to prison and who doesn’t. The way our Justice System is set up, a charge can be altered or even dropped at these stages of prosecution.

Judges and Prosecutors don’t just have the bad guys they “punish” to worry about. They also have the victims and families of both sides who may decide to seek retribution for perceived slights.

A parallel can be made to doctors and medical staff not doing what someone wants and receiving threats, but the big difference is you can go to a different doctor or stop going, altogether, in most cases. You don’t get to choose your Judge and jurisdiction, except in few select instances.

This is definitely regional. I work in radiology at a hospital in Kentucky. We have gun magazines in our waiting room. There are always gun magazines on the counter in PACU. Gun talk all the time during surgery cases.

Is it really about the discount or is it about the recognition?

BL for doctors gets a big fat no from me! Glock already offers this to EMT's FF's & Paramedics.

Like I said, I squared my daughter an RN away, years ago, taught her to shoot too.
My daughter is just like the one on the bottom right, of the picture, and I am proud of her, she's my HERO.

    This is a 'partial truth'.
My wife is a medical professional, and not in the ER, and she still faces much risk and hell everyday! Not just ER teams face risk! ;)

Great post Cadillac. That is really what I am talking about here. They are working hard and facing danger. They do it every day, not just during pandemics.
