When I was in prison, I love starting out that way, anyhow, even as an NP working in prison, I qualified for the discount. I told a lot of leg breakers no “candy” for you.

I might could see ER personnel qualifying, but not just any MD/DO/NP/PA/CNA, just ER.

BTW, I would no longer qualify as I’m a F.A.G. (Former Action Guy).

I have two teenage sons working at a large grocery store chain. The one runs a register and some nights during the panic was in close contact with literally hundreds of customers EVERY shift. No personal protection gear at all. How many patients are medical staff in contact with in a 4 hour shift? Not that many. And these people are not tested. They haven't a clue whose sick. So let's settle down on the "front line" drama. Everyone is sacrificing. My boys get 10 bucks an hour, what's the medical staff get who as a matter of fact knew the risk when they signed onto that profession.
Rant over. Sorry if I offended or you think my opinion sucks.

Forums are about opinions. That is why they exist. I may not agree with you, but, I respect your opinion.

Just curious, why ER and not the others? What makes that department more "deserving"?

Already a member. I am not looking for the discount. My point that I tried to convey in a few of the posts was about appreciation for the medical staff. EMT, paramedic, fire fighters and judges don't need weapons for their job either. The inclusion of them in Blue Label is a "thank you" for public service. So, why not medical staff?

Even military. Do they need to be armed in regular life? The ones that need weapons are provided them by the military.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely respect all of the included services and am glad they get recognition for it.

Age has nothing to do with ignorance and trolling, but go on.

Was wondering about that myself. Over 6000 posts is hardly Troll behavior

Unless you’re patrolling a beat, in a true EMS ambulance (a private, take granny to the doctor medical transport services not included), or staffing fire stations you’re not a first responder. Doctor helpers and hospital staff are not part of the aforementioned groups.

With that said, it is my opinion that only law enforcement officers with powers of arrest should be considered for the Blue Label deal. I could extend that to only one sub group of firefighters, and that is fire marshals/arson investigators with powers of arrest and are authorized to carry. Not sprinkler inspectors.

Your disabled son (thank him for his service for me) and the VA disability system has nothing to do with the Glock Blue Label Discount program. Bringing it into the conversation does nothing but lead the conversation off topic. Look up the definition of trolling.

Again post history, age, etc has nothing to do with deliberately inflammatory statements that are not relevant to the topic at hand.

Ahhh, stop the name calling. Discussion is one thing, you are somewhat of a newbie in posting.

Suggest you keep on track, follow the rules, not a moderator but I will report if you continue.

I'll concede that trolling may have not been his intent, it is just hard to see what other purpose such statements could have had.

Either way I've spoken my personal feelings on the blue label program, so y'all can carry on, I'll see you in some other threads.

Realize you cannot call somebody a Troll now, Suggest you ask for further discussion If you are still in limbo.

The thread has merit, I’m familiar with several Posters, hopefully this situation we are all in gets behind us.

Myself I appreciate ALL that are fighting this Unseen enemy.
