'Bout a month ago we shot GSSF for the first time in Indy- My buddy(Bruce Frazer) ISN'T (well, make that "wasn't") a Glock fan at all, but he reluctantly agreed to attend, and so that we'd get the "whole" experience we signed on as RO's too...
The Fri nite RO mtg was a positve experience- I mean you got 30 guys together that all love to shoot-where's the downside to that?
We hit the ground running Sat morn With our brand new YELLOW GSSF shirts and out brand new GSSF memberships(BOTH foc due to our RO duty)
We both met a bunch of super nice people, and we both got to shoot the pgm once...He won 25 bucks for a 7th place finish in Am Civ "C"...
I called and let him know that yesterday- and he said 'That's IT" "Which Glock should I buy?"...I'm thinkin' a 9mm Sub Compact, so we can open up another class for us to shoot in...
All in all it was such a positive experience!
I don't know if we want this GSSF business to grow or not(maybe we just keep it to ourselves?).. but if you take a guy to a shoot with you you're gonna hook him.

Congratulations Bruce and welcome to the wonderful world of GSSF. Thanks Rikki for introducing Bruce to a great new shooting venue.

My son-in-law and I drove up from Florida and shot the Indy match last month. It was our first trip to the Indy match but since we were shooting an odd number of GSSF matches this season (11) we decided to add Indy to make it an even 12 matches. We are certainly glad we did. We had a great time and the entire crew running the match were great and made us feel right at home. Indy will be a regular shoot for us as a result of all the efforts of the Indy folks.

On a second note; why haven't you proven to Bruce that the G37 should be his 1st Glock? ;f ;f ;f

I don't wanna have to share my GAP brass with Him!!!!
Besides...maybe it won't be too long before there's a GAP'er in the Major Sub Class?!THAT would be one for him to jump on...
I seriously don't wanna steer him "wrong", I just wanna steer him to a pistol that will open up another class for ME!!LOL

Indy was fun and its great to get other shooters there...it just tickles me to no end when you see those faces light up after the experience and say " I am hooked";f
