Bourbon or gin
I'm on a Patron Silver and lime wedge kick right now. My bourbon collection is getting a rest.
The liquor cabinet(s) are well stocked.....so is the pantry and freezers.
Wow, if it goes on long enough I might end up hitting those dusty bottles in the back of the liquor cabinet.
I keep a bottle or two of the good stuff handy for just such an occasion, it's left over from my last colonoscopy.
ANY alcohol of choice... with a roll of Lifesavers dropped in the bottle.
I'm seriously buying stocks in beer and alcohol companies. If there is a quarantine, beer, wine and alcohol sales will go through the roof!
If that were actually true, I'd probably just do computer work, dry fire, climb on my wall, stretch and do other fitness exercises.
But how would I be stuck in my home? What's going to prevent me from going out and living in the wilderness for 10/20/30 days? You're imagining that OSP is going to shut down BLM and NF? Seriously?
You think I'm going to get the flu from a fish?
An inexpensive bourbon.
Bourbon because I love it.
Inexpensive so I can acquire enough that I don't run out.
I was gonna say, that little ditty weren't about whisky.
Whisky is the only drinking I do anymore. Beer ain't drinkin'.
Whatever remains. I am not too picky. I just had a semi-black Russian. Most cheap pure agave Reposado tequilas suit me. I am good with Jim Beam straight.
You know, you actually made me think about this. I don’t drink much vodka but that would seem to me to be the smart move if you were hunkering down. Handles of Monopolowa come to mind. Very versatile for drinking and sanitizing.
I remember seeing an experiment done on YT or something years ago where the cheapest rotgut vodka (Popov?) was run through Brita filters several times, then double-blind taste tested against Stolichnaya or some other premium pricey brand. Nobody could reliably identify the 'better' brand.
Loaded bloody Mary’s will do.
Costco was selling Moscow mule in a can. 3 shots in a 12 oz. can. They were also selling a local brewer's stuff in a pint can.
For a 30 day quarantine I would need 75-100 bottles of Michael David Vineyards Zinfandel. (If you knew my wife you'd understand!)
Costco vodka with mountain dew and Old Camp (peach pecan whiskey).
A case of Jim Beam oughta get me through. I'd also lay in some root beer. I like cold root beer. Milk too - don't know if it would make 30 days in the fridge.
