"It was reported yesterday that the White House has “amended” the biography of nearly every U.S. president of the past century, adding a “Did you know?” section at the end where they tied former presidents’ accomplishments to those of president Obama."

"At the bottom of Reagan’s biography, for instance, the White House tried to plug the “Buffett Rule.” Did you know, it asks, that “In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.”"

The White House shouldn't be mocked for that. It's a fine old building.

The president SHOULD be mocked for it. If he didn't order it himself he should kick some butt and get it changed back.

It's crept into other works too. Just saw this in a religious studies article:

"Like Obama, Jesus rose from obscurity, led a popular movement, and became famous via a book about his father. However, Obama's book became a best seller in a much shorter prior of time."

This is not really funny. This would be funny if Odumbo were not our President, but he is, so it's not. It's an outrage, and Odumbo should be called on it personally by the media (but he likely won't be).

It sounds like something the North Koreans or USSR would do.

The Jack Kennedy now revered by the Democratic Party was a steadfast cold-warrior.

SELECTIVE quoting from the past is a trap into which it is easy to fall.

It never ceased to amaze me the marvelous ways the living create to make the dead jump through flaming hoops.

Case on point - look into the 1930s and how progressives back then pretty much rewrote history textbooks. They are still doing it. If FDR was such a great president, why was a constitutional amendment passed to limit presidential terms to 2? That's not something a philibuster can do. Iirc, it requires a 2/3 majority, thus requiring bypartisan sporty. FDR was actually hated and feared. People went to jail for speaking badly about him. And, get this, he was a Progressive.

    Huh! Looks real to me...........

These revelations must be more of his effort to be "open" with the public.

    (I said open, not honest)
