    Came home with a Sig....

I went to my local academy itching to buy something... anything, but 1 requirement, it had to be cheap... At first I was thinking maybe some targets, a few mags etc... Then after looking, I decided I need a shotgun. I looked at all the mossberg one's they offered. Decided on one that was ~300 bucks, that's cool, I don't mind, it's within reason. Then I tell the guy I want it, but I want a new one in box, The only one he had is the display model that had a few little nicks that i notice. So he tells me the other local academy has 10 in stock. So I thank him for his help, and decide to go to the other store. On the way I stop by my local gun store, and what do I see behind the counter? A Sig 556 swat pistol... Well I guess I saw that gun on the wrong day, b/c I took it home with me on a whim. Well, my itch has been scratched for a LONG time now i guess.

+1. After that, you have to update your "sig line".

trust me, there's more that needs to be added to my "sig" line, like an AR pistol, 10 inch AR15 sbr, spikes 22 upper on a DPMS lower, etc.... I think I'll just erase it and post I have a few guns lol

Congrats. Now start getting to work on your ATF paperwork to make it into an SBR.

I don't see the point, but as long as your happy with it. I'm sure it would be fun at the range.

Many of us have done it. Last year I went into my local toy store to buy a box of shot shells and walked out with a 1973 Browning Auto-5 Light Twelve in like-new condition.

Yeap, I went in for ammo and walked out with an HK P30. Why are we so weak?

lol.... I should stop reading glocktalk, maybe it's the reason for this sickness we all suffer from. Reading all these review's and posts of different guns, and what other's drool over. Then wanting it yourself. Geez, first it was the 2 HK USP's I came home with when all I wanted was a AK47, and now it's a 556 when all I wanted was something cheap.

I've learned to resist.... I think I'm pretty much set as far as guns between my 5 Glocks (22,23,27,35,31) and a Ruger LCP. I've got my rifles covered with a nice LMT AR and a recently acquired M1A Scout, and a 590 Mariner is always on duty too. I've decided that all my gun dollars are going to be spent on training and ammo. Now let's see if I can find me a nice snubbie....

Oh crap, you're right, it IS a disease!

I think it's more of a pistol than this is:

I like the ar pistol, but I didn't like how it had to have a buffer tube sticking out back. Wasn't sure what's the best way to fire it, so I bought a kel-tec PLR 22 for plinking about a month ago, and the Sig this week.

oh, and if you're wondering, it's a noveske 10 inch upper with a noveske flash suppressor.
