I went to the gun store looking for a trade; I don't really care for my Sig P250 Subcompact, so I grabbed it, and took it with me. Looking around, I saw a couple guns that caught my eye, but ultimately, I decided I didn't need another 9mm. The Ruger LCR did catch my eye; I remember deciding on an S&W 438 Bodyguard, against the LCR due to me being wary of the LCR and it being new. Today, I decided "What do I have to lose?".

I proposed the deal; my Sig P250 Subcompact, for the brand new Ruger LCR and a couple boxes of ammo. They accepted the deal. I got the Ruger LCR, two boxes of Speer Gold Dot 135 grain +P, and a 100 round box of WWB target ammo. Didn't cost me a dime; some may feel I got ripped, but to each their own, right? I only paid $525 for the Sig back in January; I walked out with $525 worth of stuff easily today. I can't wait to see how it shoots. How do you guys like your LCR's?

Of course, here's the obligatory pics:

If you're happy, sounds like a good deal to me. Nice wheelgun.

Love the LCR's trigger! I hope to have one myself someday.

Congratulations on the new LCR. As others have said, if you are happy, that's all that matters. I still prefer the S&W 442/642, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the LCR.

I like most of Ruger's wheelguns and I've heard mostly good about the LCR. I'd get one but I can't really justify it because I have a SP101 which is more than sufficient for me for a small frame revolver.

Having had the chance to handle the LCR on a couple of occasions, they do feel kinda weird to me...they're just so light(for obvious reasons), almost feels like a toy gun in your hand. Great trigger though. That said, I'd still get one if I could justify it.

    Congrats on your purchase.

The one I have here isn't as accurate as my Smith snubs, and Ruger considers it a 15-yard gun.
If yours does better, that's great. :)

Possibly. I wanna see how the stock grips feel when shooting. I love Crimson Trace though!

Alright. I said I read somewhere that they're not accurate. I didn't state that from experience or anything. And I don't like them because of personal taste. They're just not appealing to me.

Its cool man. I never liked revolvers until I started having back problems, then I got tired of chasing brass:rofl:. I think its hard to beat the accuracy of a tight revolver, especially a well made SA revolver.
