It was my first time ever to a Casino so I only brought $60 to spend. I went with one of my buddies who goes fairly frequently and he showed me around. So we settled on some slots that he won $500 the week before. Long story short, it was the quickest $60 I have ever lost that didnt involve purchasing something! Not only that, my buddy (that lucky SOB) won $180. We werent there very long before I ran out of money. I should have went and played cards but it was too busy! Anyway, it was a fun expirience but I probably wont go again for awhile!

I'd rather play Skee-Ball at the arcade. At least there I have an illusion that I might win big based on my skill and luck.

I like the experience - watching how they sucker willing people out of their hard-earned dough. But play? Rarely. As you saw, many times it just goes way too quick.

Casinos can be great or horrible... I used to be a little :)whistling:) addicted to the gambling scene about 5 years back... Turns out, either my luck sucks or I was just a horrible gambler:supergrin:... After it got to the point where I would lose $500-$3K a night, I gave it up and have not looked back.

    Had fun though.

Learn the basic stragedy to black jack and have some fun. Obviously there is still a house edge, but if you know when to hit, stand, split or double, you've got a shot.

I don't go a lot, but if I'm there and I'm really bored. I'll hit the wheel of fortune slots. Not because they are any better, but because I like seeing the wheel spin when I hit a bonus game.
