How would those pliers even be effective with the design of that knife? I couldn't see me holding a loaf of bread and a pair of pliers in the same hand and expect to get much done....either way.. nice knife... i guess..

I have the "baby" brother model...[IMG]

It can still fit in the pocket, but if you take the belt off it has a hidden use of helping drop your pants!

Got it as a Christmas present a couple years back. It actually is useful as I keep it in my room, not too close to any other tools so often if I need an off size screwdriver or most any other tool besides a hammer I reach for it!

I think that's a little unnecessary. Just checked out their website, and I like the new ones with jump drives built in...seems handy.

Are these HUGE ones really functional? I mean I probably wouldn't carry it around but it would be nice to have around the house. For EDC I think mine does the trick.

Also, see that hook at the bottom? Anyone know what that is for. Knots maybe.

No its to big. I edc a Wenger S10 or translucent Highlander and either is perfect. Also I'm saving up for a Wenger Minathor which is 150 euros and has Bergeon watchmaking tools in it. I'll put up pics later.

    Here is the minathor.

Yes that is right. It is a Parcel Carrier.

About 20 years ago I wanted to know what that hook was for. I carry a Victorinox Swiss Army knife everyday and it was driving me crazy as to what that hook was for.

I called Victorinox to ask what it was for.

They told be it was added to turn the knife into a handle to carry packages that were tied with string around them to keep the string from cutting into your fingers.

I have been carrying a Victorinox Swiss Army for 35 years. I have had only 3 in all that time and still have all 3.

When I was in IT I started carrying a Victorinox CyberTool 41. Handiest tool I own. It is on my belt everyday.
