I knew I shouldn't have come back to this thread.

Trolls are trolls. You don't WIN by arguing with them, you only
give them a free lunch & a woody. A troll thrives upon attention,
However, it is a bit difficult to let a troll, like we have here,
spread absolute bull**** without saying a word. When you do
argue with them, you only make yourself look like an idiot.

In short,....guess I'm venting. Maybe I'll lurk for a while.

You just want more internet time to surf internet porn :tongueout:

Just kidding, take a Glocktalk vacation for a while and then come back in. The break is needed sometimes I think, at least for me.

Yah keep on lurking! And then step in when it gets too deep...otherwise noobs will drown! I have read your posts for two years now...you have been really decent and you shoot a bunch...

To me the guy that has high end 1911's who shoots them a metric butt ton...well I kinda listen...

I am not saying, "Get off your high horsey!" because I don't know what made y'all "big guns" mad but I don't wanna go in the deeper waters without somebody who can tell me something when I need the darn truth. Stay and pm us noobs if you want.

I see this all blowing over soon anyways...

Well, since NO ONE will have the guts to step up and say it I guess I'll have to. I'd guess that I'm the "Troll" that ya'll are talking about. Guess that having a different opinion about something makes one a "Troll", so be it.
I'm not in this alone though. I've been talked down to, belittled and pretty much called stupid simply for having an opinion that's contrary to what some here think about things. That's fine, I'm about fed up with this 1911 Forum as well. It seems like if someone doesn't walk in "lock step" with the opinions and ideas of a few that "run" this forum well then, they're a "Troll" or just Wrong Headed about things or even just flat out Stupid about 1911's and what's "good" and what's "bad" as far as which guns are worth owning.
Don't let me run ya' off faawrenchbndr, heck, if anything I'll drop out and let ya'll have your little High End 1911 Party without me butting in any more.
Let that be a warring to others who'd say that anything but a $3000 Custom is still worth owning. Folks that own "cheap" 1911's just aren't welcome around here and don't have the Right to voice their opinion on such matters I guess.

There is only one thing that You are missing here Frank.
Different opinions are always welcome and this forum is living off of that fact alone.
What is not welcome here are the aggressive statement of yours.
Aggression only moves in one direction - it creates more aggression and that's what happened here.
The only source of knowledge is experience.
You stated many times that You haven't any, yet You coming here with your statements that are simply directed toward the other people, yet when they jump back on You, You are posing as a victim.
Information is not an knowledge Frank.
    As Benjamin Franklin said:
The doorstep to the temple of wisdom is a knowledge of our own ignorance.
Of course You can't see that, because all You care for is the attention, no matter positive or negative one.
Looks like You enjoy making others feel bad, just because You feel bad too.
    Why is that?
    I don't know and I don't really care.
    No more.

I thought you were leaving ......drama much?

A few of the guys here spun off and started a 1911 site dedicated to the washing of Bac's balls, perhaps that would be a better place for you.

'Frank,.......50% of what you have to say is valid. The other half
is a damn broken record! You have nothing else better to say than
the same old ****. You do nothing more that stir a **** post in every
thread you post in. I don't care if you stay or go, I'm just sick of
your bull**** & the garbage posted by a few others like you.

You drive your Kia,........I'll stick with Mercedes.

Heck no Frank! Don't go anywhere! I thought you were evolving with me! Towards the 1911 platform we shall go...I kinda traded a bit too much at first...I had a Glock that wouldn't work so I got an M&P that had an awful trigger on to Beretta 92 that was good but too big...back to the Glock...one that worked...

And then I shot a Colt Gold Cup National Match. And then I finally got it...1911's for me forever!

It's kinda nice...$3000 is nothing near the quarter million my dream car would cost. I can afford an Ed Brown with diligence in my spending so I do kinda support the "high enders"...

But I'm with you on the filipinos...bang for the buck is almost too good to be true...

Yah you are right. Maybe too much drama...but those "high enders" have a bunch to say when you finally get that $3000 saved.

Bac has catered to all walks...he has Filipino guns in his review.

I don't know why I am still in this thread...I just kinda lurk here myself and enjoy the posts...this surely ain't no hardcore 1911 forum...but it is a nice place for Glock hounds like me...I think y'all are forgetting that...

LMAO...Frank you <3 trading...you would be driving a Mercedes so fast and looking as to how you could trade it for another Chevy and two Tauruses...

Y'all chill..this is where I come for my 1911 stuff...why am I still posting in this thread?...help I'm a noob! Ignore each other and keep posting y'alls opinions both ways! Otherwise I am at the mercy of Google.

Frank, I have read your posts for sometime now and I feel you might be missing sight of what everyone has a problem with. At least from my standpoint I feel you do offer good info on what you can do or will do to your own 1911. However, you always feel the need to state that your 1911 is great and no one should buy or feel the need to buy a higher end 1911. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you have derived an opinion without ever owning or possibly firing a higher end pistol. I feel you constantly feel the need to defend your purchase of a standard 1911 when most members are not attacking you. They are merely trying to explain to you in their opinion why they like or enjoy their 1911. So rather than fight tooth and nail to defend the purchase of your 1911, you should just be constructive and positive without belittling everyone else's purchase.
