You all act like this is my doing, I just go to work and do my shift and go home.

I will be wearing my Trump 2020 shirt when I go if we are still on strike.

It's a worker's market right now if you're willing to move or are flexible to a different type of work.

I think the writing has been on the wall for GM for quite some time. They simply cannot compete.

The only thing a company owes you is a pay check for the value you add to their business.

If you do not add value you should be replaced.

Unions had their use back in the day, but now they are just a political arm of the Democrats. They make it impossible to get rid of underperforming employees and save people that should be fired on technicalities.

Ain’t that the truth !!! I have seen multiple people who have been fired brought back to work thanks to the union. One person a couple times yet they keep getting brought back.

There are a ton of people who could never make it in the working world if it was not for the union protecting them.

I used to work with a black girl nicknamed Big Sugar. She really really liked us white boys.

Yeah, and don't get me started on teacher's unions where kids are cheated out of a decent education because of under-performing teachers.

I disagree. We are not yet forced to buy over priced gm products.
Lots of Toyota trucks and sundry made in San Antonio. Maybe the consumer should strike against gm.

    Lets do the UAW math.

Lets say the average salary is $65,000 a year

    This is $1250 a week

    Dues $938 a year

    $250 a week benefits vs. $1250 a week working is a loss of $1000 a week.

How many $1000 weeks on strike before its just financially dumb?

Yeah, we did, and I got doubly screwed, had 150 shares of GM when it tanked. Not only did I lose my ass in the market, also got to fund the bailout through my taxes.

Thank you, George Bush, and Obama, probably the only single thing they saw eye to eye on. Rape the capitalist investor, and elevate the progressive, with taxpayer funding.

You really think the UAW understands math or any economics concept?
