We have a beautiful large hunk o' corned beef slow cooking in the crock pot since about 11 this morning. :)
Red skin potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic and spices, oh and of course some wedges of cabbage. Yumm.

The aroma is already drifting all through the house. I'm not sure which is better, smelling it cooking all day, or finally eating it?
I know, eating it is better! ;f
But the aroma is half the fun right?! :)

Throw in a link or 2 of a good flavor Polish kielbasa and you will have one of the best tasty corn-beef .

Yup we will be going with the leftovers for tonight's dinner.
Even though we have plenty of potatoes, carrots & stuff left, I'm very tempted to just take the corned beef and make some nice CB hash to have with a couple eggs.

I just had some last week and then fixed more for Sunday lunch. It is so good! Curious... do you like it with or without mustard?

It's on sale at WalMart for $1.40 a pound here in DFW, if anyone's interested.

Well if I'm having a plate of it complete with potatoes and veggies etc., then I don't use mustard. (although I used to)
But a CB sandwich on Rye, then yes, mustard is the only way to go.

I don't throw the cabbage in until the last hour or so of cooking. I do like the idea of the polish sausage though, I hope I can remember that next time I cook some CB.
