I can agree 100% with the prose.
It seems more and more people prefer the term "black American"
as opposed to "African American".

Add to that the fact not everyone who is black has African origins in their geneology.
If anthropology is to be believed, we all have African origins in our genes.
Thanks to the great British and Dutch empires in the last 500 yrs of human history for expediting the spread of black gene pool throughout North and South America as well as Europe
I'm noticing more and more darker skinned Americans correcting people for this.
