Hi, All, I'm in the market for a pocket size camera that can take some abuse and saltwater, I have a Nikon 3100 but it's just a matter of time before something happens to it.
    Thanks Much.

There are some water resistant digitals but nothing, that I know of,that is actually water proof to a depth. There are water proof acrylic covers that you can enclose certain models with and operate the controls but they are exspensive. You might consider buying a disposable/waterproof film camera and then getting the images burned to cd.

Just in case anyone cares I found the Pentax 43WR would do most of what I wanted. Good for 3 feet of water and can take salt water.
The pictures are great for a point and shoot.
