    Be warned.

IQ points are lost with each episode watched.

I watch two reality shows on TV. The Kardashians and American Guns. I'm a highly educated pretty street smart guy. Both shows entertain me and I never miss one. Oh ya, and American choppers.

Once you come to the realization that these shows are not real they can be quite fun to watch. Sit back, don't worry about it too much and enjoy the show. Or else turn the channel and STFU.

I asked about a particular episode of American Guns on another forum and it turned in to a bash fest of the show, the shop and the owner. Some people are incapable of just watching for entertainment without reading more into it than is really there.

Do I believe everything I see on TV? No, I have a brain and I use it. Am I pretty easily entertained? Yes, because I watch TV to be entertained. Some times I like to shut my brain down and just without trying to figure out the shows evil ulterior motives.

Both Sons of Guns (my personal preference) and American Guns both do a lot of neat stuff mixed in with a healthy dose of the completely pointless. But they have to make it exciting or nobody would watch. Would anyone take the time to watch the idiots on those shows argue and backstab while building a completely impractical gun then go to the range and punch holes in a paper target?

    I agree.

So many are willing to jump on the broadcast media or TV /movies when the use the term "clip" or mis-identify a model of firearm etc. Yet shows that like these (add Top Shot to the list) that show firearms is a positive light are bashed by many on here. Some are just never going to be happy I guess.

Built a "truck gun" out of a Model 94 using a specially made lightweight titanium receiver and shortened barrel. Pretty freaking neat IMO. Or maybe you have one of those already :tongueout:

Sounds pretty stupid, like turning a Vette into a monster truck. To each his own.

Maybe they went in together and got a buy one get one free special. Or should I say buy two get the other two for free special.

well i was just watching the show for entertainment only......

but i think the "negotiation" parts are pretty damn funny......the owner, Rich, must be the best gunsmith on the planet to charge the prices he does on the show.......

I would love to see a "customer" walk in with a Glock 17 and ask him "how much to turn this into a gun that does not eject brass into my face"....LMAO

The only true "real" thing on TV is sports.

I like when he quotes prices for the projects, can't wait to hear how much it will be.

I saw the episode last night where they turned Grandpa's "heirloom" shotgun into a tactical weapon.

Somehow I don't think that's what Grandpa would have wanted, even if it could make targets explode.

Because Grandpa kept it that way for a reason. It was preserved. The guns I've gotten from relatives tend to remain as given, because that way they best serve as reminders of loved ones now gone.

I like the show. As I say constantly when people complain, it's entertainment.

Guess that is what makes the world go round. Of course anyone on here is welcomed to conceive, create, produce and market their own pro firearm reality show and up the realism...or just continue to complain about the ones on TV now..........:tongueout:
