    How difficult is it to get on the GSSF schedule? We have a great 7 bay USPSA facility situated on a 700 acre shooting range (ORSA) that is located in East Tennessee.

    3 hrs from Atlanta
    3 hrs from Lexington
    2.5 hrs from Nashville
    4 hrs from Charlotte, NC

    A couple of us regular USPSA shooters are interested in having a GSSF match at our range. What would be the first step for being considered as a locale to host a match?

    Thanks

    Contact Mr. Chris Edwards at GSSF/Glock, Inc. in Smyrna. The number is 770-432-1202. There are currently 28 matches on the 2002/03 calender. If Ft. Benning and Harvard are put back in then that's a 30 match season for 03/04. Hopefully room can be found for you. Needed items, beside the bays, is the ability to host upwards of 350 shooters over 2 days and enough volunteers to run the match as ROs. Good luck. :)

    FlatPickDude;

    Remember the saying " Build it and they will come"? I can assure you from the Florida Contingent "Host it and we will come" Good luck, we will be watching the schedule.

    Maybe year 2003/2004 will bring a GSSF match to the Charleston area. We now have 10 pistol bays at the Palmetto Gun Club but we are still working on the grass and leveling the ground.
