Want to get my G22 a little brother.

I CC with a G22 and have no problems with it. At times it can be a bit large and harder to conceal depending on the type of clothes I have on. The but being as large as it is (GUN) sticks out and gives me the most problem with an IWB holster.
I will be getting either a G23 or G27 to also CC and I seem to be leaning to the G27. It just seems that it will be much easier to conceal a G27. But It will be a bit small for my large hands. I have fired the Sub compact 9mm Glock that is the same physical size and I do fine with it. Will the 40 sub be much harder to control than the 9mm? The range I shoot at has no G27 for me to try out. Any comments will be welcomed.

I have a G22 and got the 27. The 23 is only 1/2 inch smaller. 27 is very easy to control and accurate. I don't notice a whole lot of difference between the two and have received no injuries to my forehead from "the violent recoil" of the .40.

Hello glocksteady. I see that was your first post. Welcome to GT.
I really am leaning to the G27 but would like to feel the recoil of the 27 my G22 has a healthy snap to it and wonder if I will be happy with the smaller snappy 27. Not worried about holding on , but holding on to it properly for an accurat second shot. Guess if I am not happy with the 27 it gives me a reason to buy the 23 LOL
I have not noticed having to adjust my grip while shooting. I have noticed taking too strong of grip makes it more difficult. I used to put a death grip on it when I first started. Now I use a more relaxed grip and let the recoil happen. It snaps up and right back down on target. There is no rapid fire at the range I go to but I can fire 1 shot per second and have no problems. 180 gr ammo helps as well. I really think for CC there will be essentially no difference between the 22 & 23.
I started carrying a G22 and when I decided to pickup another one for easier concealment/BUG I went with the G27.
