Of those 3 I would pick RRA. I would open up your options a little bit. I would also stick with 223/5.56. Whats the gun gonna be used for?

Out of those 3 I would say RRA as well.

If you want to hunt whitetail with it, maybe 6.8 is better for you. Like I said, RRA would be my choice of those 3. I have zero experience with 6.8. The 22-250 sure does drop the yotes where they stand:wavey:

Get the RRA. Don't bother with 6.8 unless your a reloader, ammo is too expensive.

.223 will work fine for deer and coyote hunting, no question. Go for head shots on the deer and its not going far.

Why those 3 brands? You would do much better with a Daniel Defense, LMT, Colt, or if you have the cash a Noveske. And you would have a much better rifle.

If you want something really neat - now this is my opinion - but take a look at 300BLK. Better than the 6.8 in many many ways. And you can use regular AR mags with it. Just don't want you to realize that there is so much better stuff out there after you buy.

If you want it for whitetail, why not go with a .308/AR-10?

Of the three I would go with the Armalite. I'll second the 300BLK over the 6.8 as well but for either you really need to be a reloader since ammo is so high.

^^^^This! If you must choose from the list, I would get the RRA. There are much better rifles for not much more money. I have a DDM4 and a colt and I absolutely love them both!

PSA would be a good choice, too, if the OP just wants a "fun gun."

Or he had a typo and meant hogs.

Well I'd go with the Armalite, 5.56 works for everything you want to do. If you wish to expand then try the Armalite AR10, 762X51.....Reloading is a good idea if you shoot a lot.

None of the above if it was my money. Do more research and buy something of higher quality for the same amount of $.

Well, if you´ve narrowed it down to these three.... and looking at all three manufacturers websites and the prices stated on them....

I´d say a Colt LE 6920 on sale for 900$ would fall within your budget, and that´s what i´d recommend instead of a Bushy or Armalite. (I think they changed something on the colts, like the rollmarks, and some places sell off the ones with older roll marks for right around 900$)

The RRA seems to be a lot cheaper, while my impression is that it´s pretty equal to Bushmaster and Armalite. So out of the three, i´d have no problem choosing a RRA.

But if you´re willing to spend 900 bucks, you might as well look out for one of these colt deals. (they could be gone though for all i know, but it sure doesn´t hurt)

If you´re going 5.56 that is.

I have an RRA 6.8 mid-length upper and am quite pleased with it. I use on a CMMG lower with A2 riflestock. It shoots well for me, and the recoil is not much more than a 5.56. IIRC, I paid $325 for the upper w/bolt (lightly used).
