no, never was a fan and would not even want it in 10mm never liked that caliber. if I cant buy ammo for it in wal mart(meaning cheap and readily available without reloading having to special order) im not interested...never really liked that gun though either :)

Personally I hope the new Bren will be super popular. Then Maybe Dan Wessons in 10MM will be produced again. Then maybe others will take notice and it will join the ranks where it belongs. As one of the greatest most flexible hand gun rounds ever.

    Indeed!

Semi-autos (in production) I wish were also chambered in 10mm:

    Ruger P-90
Springfield XD/XDm's (assuming te .45 is forthcoming)
    CZ97
    S&W M&P
    SIG 220 series
    HK USP
    Jericho
    Steyr "L"

Hypothetically, if the above were all available then that would mean you WOULD be able to get 10mm at Wal Mart.

And I'd like to see more revolvers chambered for them. Ruger should follow Bullman's suit and offer the 10mm as a standard option for the GP-100

I actually suspect the opposite is true: that the reason DW decided to drop the 10mm from their lineup for this year is that they figured the introduction of the Bren/Fortis would oversaturate the market for mid-upper range 10mm handguns and they didn't want to find themselves stuck with stock they couldn't sell. They can concentrate on more popular calibers for a year or two until the novelty/nostaliga wears thin and jump back in when the waters are settled.

Annoying as I was planning to but an RZ10 this year.

I kind of would... But wouldn't that be a Bren 9, AKA CZ75?

The Armalite AR-24 looks suspiciously like a Bren Ten (in 9mm) to me...now if they would only make it in 10mm!

    Wasn't the original Bren 10 just based on a 9mm CZ-75? I don't see the humor.

Yes it was, though its a bit more distant of a varient than some others.

You can clearly see the Bren's CZ roots in these pics. :)

I want several. The way the back strap curves in allows my hand to get a firmer grip than on other pistols such as the 1911 and I love the 1911 because of it's trigger, but I want more Brens and will get another in 10MM and .45ACP which will be made this year. Depending upon Vltor's locking design of the barrel a .40S&W might be possible on the 10MM.

    I would rather have a double stack, double action, 10mm 1911 than a "9mm Bren-Ten".
