Unless something has changed in the last few days

CNSNews.com reported Monday that Walmart had suspended further ammunition orders until the findings of the Biden gun-control task force are released.

To set the record straight: Walmart tells CNSNews.com that the store’s ammunition policy has not changed.

“We continue to offer that product to our customers and you know, we’ll continue to do so,” Kory Lundberg, a Walmart spokesman, told us on Tuesday. “We haven’t made any changes in the product mix in that category.”

Walmart continues to stock and sell ammo in its stores, he confirmed.

And in areas of the country where Wal-Mart sells ammunition and firearms, “We’re committed to do so responsibly and safely,” Lundberg said. “We certainly understand there are sportsmen and hunters out there who use these products responsibly, and we want to continue to meet their needs while also continuing to make sure that we’re selling these products in a safe and responsible manner.”

One thing I've learned about asking questions involving Wal-Mart policy is if you ask ten associates or managers the same question, you'll get at least eight and a half different answers. I have seen people read a clearly worded e-mail and tell the person next to them it says something completely wrong.

I call B/S. I may be wrong but, I'll believe it when I see it. Heck, if you want to know if such a memo went out, I know of one person on here that works in that department and I'm sure most regulars know who I mean.

i'm so sick of the idiots out there who keep thinking this stuff is true. Until i actually see the email from Walmart Home office for myself i'll take it as false.

    An "email"?

How about when you go into a Wal Mart, and the shelves that used to hold ammo, now hold feminine hygiene products?

I'd personally be wondering what the sporting goods/outdoor section was doing merging with the health/beauty products, considering a majority of Walmart's I've been in - those departments are separated by a third of the store's inventory.

Walmart pulled out every single inch of ammo-shelf space in my store a few months back.....

....then they realigned the whole area to put in rifles and shotguns for the first time in more than a decade.

Walmart, every few years, goes in and revamps their stores. I'd be a dollar to donuts, if you see them pulling out shelf-space, this is why.

No retailer is going to waste shelf space when they can fill it with something else to sell.

    No, it's true.

I went into Wally World, and there was no ammo on the shelves.
    They've stopped selling it!!!!!!!

(At least until the truck arrives, on Friday.)

Simply put, they don't want an embargo of the Chino-crap by Uncle Joe. Who at the very least would purposely tie their products up in Customs for non-compliance with his insane view of the world. Liberal freedom at work.

Didn't this thread originate in the Ox & Alex Forum? Has the OP gotten enough attention yet? Maybe he could write another brilliant thread linking to to the same YouTube dufous reveling in his navel lint. Or maybe russ will shunt it off to cop talk where real adults can have mature discussions in the privacy of their own bedroom?

    Sheesh.
