I went to check ammo at my local walmart and was shocked to see that the ammo case was stuffed full, and they are now carrying RWS ammo as well as WWB and Remington Has anyone shot the RWS ammo? They had 9mm for 11 bucks and change. They even had WWB .45 auto 100 packs and that seems to never be in. The employee told me that they are adding more manufacturers so they can try to keep up with demand. I'm not sure if it is chain wide but I hope this keeps up! 64 bucks for 200 rounds of .45 isnt to bad!

I've noticed more and more ammo at my local Walmart's as well. It's a good sign that the worst might be over. I still choose to reload though.

I noticed the same thing - but still no 380 auto - when I see that on the shelves the run on ammo will be over.

Yup, hate to admit it but I bought at Walmart. They lifted their limit on 9mm so I asked, "have you got an unopened case you'd sell me?" walked out the door with 1000 Federal Champ for $202 including 7% for the governor.

I have shot one box thought my P238, worked fine, nothing spectacular, but it was accurate enough and cycled the slide with no issues, and it is brass, so I can reload it.

Has anyone shot the rws ammo? Yes, top quality stuff. Very clean, accurate and easier to store the smaller boxes. Also a little hotter than the average ball type sold at walmart. Great ammo IMO......Glock031

I just got back from a local Walmart that sells reloading supplies and they had tons of ammo! They had UMC 250 packs for 9, .40 and .45 and well as other brands and selections and even some 32 Acp and 380. The even had Reminton .22 Golden Bullet 550 packs that I haven't seen since last November. Still not the greatest price but they had a bunch of them. Things are shaping up nicely.

I don't check Walmart often but so far I've seen no improvement in availability. Always tons of .40, no 9mm (except the RWS stuff), .45, .38 special.

Plenty have came in at my WM, but I've been buying the hard to find stuff... .45 ACP. Cleaned out all the Federal and WWB in .45, plenty of 9mm in all brands and .40 as well as 380 spec.

Plenty of most all calibers at my local WM today, even 380 in WWB and Remington UMC.

9MM in WWB, Remington UMC, Federal and RWS.

Most stock and selection I've ever seen at WM!!!

Careful with the RCS ammo. It is steel cased, and many ranges, including mine, will not allow you to shoot it.
