Well, since Walmart jumped on the virtue signaling bandwagon and said they weren't going to sell that nasty ammo that could be used in a semi auto, I have been surprised at our local Walmart.

They still have an adequate supply of 9mm on the display shelf as well as others.

If Walmart were REALLY serious, they'd go back to their supplier and tell them to buy their stock back. Walmart DOES have that sort of clout but they didn't do that, profit was all they cared about. Hypocrites. Don

Walmart promised to sell its off its remaining stock of handgun and MSR ammo, and there *was* a short period where the selves were bare (panic buying?), but everything's been topped off since, so they must have a really deep supply chain

My loading bench still makes it cheaper so they can pound sand.

And on the rare occasions I need a quick box of factory ammo, my local Fleet Farm works just fine

At first it pissed me off what they did. But its just retarded not to buy up the rest of their ammo.
I cant buy it anywhere else cheaper. Once its gone, THEN walmart can kiss my ever loving butt, and then i `ll have to pay the premium if i want factory loaded ammo. I do reload, so i`ll always have ammo, until the gooberment bans that too, here in NY. We cant buy ammo online either. Most of you all, enjoy that freedom while you still can.

The local WalMart here in North Little Rock still has all of their ammo on the shelfs... I don't think they've found that mystery associate yet who has the keys to the ammo cabinet.

Seems how they followed DICK`s in screwing us, i`m surprised walmart didnt burn the ammo they had left in storage. I`m guessing the walmart investors were a little smarter than "Dicks".

They are under contracts. They just won't renew them when the time comes.

I thought the key to Wal-Mart's success was the whole low inventory, just in time delivery. Seems odd they would have a huge stockpile of ammo.

I haven't seen any changes in either of our Walmarts.

They don't have large stacks of ammo in the back, what you see on the shelf is it. As said though they do have contracts to buy large quantities of ammo which comes in each night.

I won't buy any of the leftover ammo, I hope no one buys it and they get stuck with it

I didn’t think people still bought ammo from WM if they were high round count shooters . Target Sports is the cheapest you can get . Even cheaper than SG.

I don't care if Wall of China Mart starts giving ammo away, my Wife and I are never stepping foot in any Walmart ever again. We've been Walmart free for nearly two months now and don't miss it one bit. We are done with them. We shop for food at Safeway and my work clothes will come from North 40 from now on. F Walmart!

That is correct. Each store has a different amount of ammo still being shipped to their stores. As it dries up, so will the shelves. One store vs another store will dry up differently across the country.
