Utah made, Five Wives Vodka, has been banned in Idaho as to not offend the residents.

Some people have no sense of humor.

Considering that the regulation of interstate commerce is a power specifically given to the federal government, this won't stand for long.

The potato state which is the main ingredient in vodka banning it haha. The same thing as in KY, our cash crop is Tobacco and you would think you are a leper here by trying to smoke it. I don't smoke but I don't think you can smoke in your own house here anymore.

Only banning Utah vodka. We have a beer called Polygamy Porter and no one was offended by it.

That as well! I am right down the road a bit from the major distilleries in Bardstown. I have friends that work at a couple of them and they always bring gifts when I have UFC at my house.

Wow, ridiculous. If the residents are offended, they won't buy it. That's a self-solving "problem".

It's actually not a bad Porter. I especially like their slogans: "Bring some home for the wives" and "Why just have only one?" BTW, is Idaho an ABC state or free market? HH

It's an ABC state, you can only buy liquor at a liquor store, not in a grocery store, and you can't buy beer or wine at a liquor store, only in a grocery store.

Tell ya what, liquor laws is one area where California is better than a lot of states. Seven days a week, 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM, you can buy all alcoholic beverages at most grocery and convenience stores, the state doesn't own the stores. Nevada is even better - 24/7.

Sounds simple but people get offended these days and need to create a problem for everybody else instead of worrying about themselves.

You do realize by citing CA as an example of lax alcohol laws, you may bring prohibition back singlehanded?

"California has lax laws on liquor, and look at that State"

As legion as California's problems are, I would imagine very few are alcohol related. HH

Idaho is controlled by the Southern half, which is heavily Mormon... I'm not surprised that they found it offensive...

Us good Baptists in Northern Idaho would not ban vodka...:whistling:
