Vitamin to prevent easy bruising?

    My girlfriend bruises easily and is wondering if there's some vitamin that helps prevent that. We both recall there being one but we're not sure what it is. Anyone?

    Is she Iron-defecient aniemic? If so, a simple iron supplement with some folic acid will help her immensely.

    I usually refrain from replying to these types of questions, but here goes:

    If you bruise easily, it has nothing to do with iron levels. It is related to a weakness of the capillary walls. Which is related to a generalized weakness of most tissues.

    What she needs:

    Vitamin C (work up to 3,000 - 4,000 mg / day)
    B complex 1 or 2 B100 / day
    Zinc 30-50 mg/day
