I have a retired NYC cop who comes into the bar frequently. He was in uniform in the Bronx during the 70's and 80's. He shakes his head in disgust when we talk about what happens now, and what he and his fellow cops would have done were it to have happened then.
Whatcha wanna bet everyone of those bikes are stolen? I love my Country but the people in it make me sick to my stomach.
We get those grom bikers doing dumb stuff like that here, they taunt the cops into chasing big groups of them. I watched a couple of them crash into each other one day and I laughed my butt off.
This is becoming all too common...
It won’t have a good outcome.
I cant watch any of that stuff. At the least I'd mace the living hell out of anyone that did that to me, especially since the water thrown was causing eye burn.
I've seen large groups of those urban hoodlums riding down I-95 south of Philly North of PHL airport. They just don't care.
I would love to see one of these groups get what’s coming to them.
How about the nypd members who participated in this garbage in the past.
This is a liberal policy problem. Period. It's a mindset.
NYC. San Fran. LA. Chicago....
Crew-served weapons would help in these cases.
Or heavy monofilament fishing line strategically placed.
A bunch of hoodlums. https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2019/11/14/nypd-officer-taunted-by-dirt-bike-riders/
Back in the day when every beat cop looked like Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, or Sterling Hayden, this didn't happen.
These guys with the guidance of Mr. Bucheimer kept order.
