Just thought I would throw this out there in case anybody has been waiting for them. I didn't see any post about them. TXPO

i saw those somewhere else recently and thought they looked neat.

Any idea what makes his slide stop lever so unique?

Are you asking about a "slide stop" or the pictured mag release??? I've put the Vicker's mag releases on all my Gen 3s so I'd assume it is the same and has a few millimeters of an extension on it. Personally, I'm good with the stock Gen 4 release though.

The Vickers slide release is well worth it. I really like it because it has the same footprint as the OEM part but it protrudes out more. I’m not a big fan of the aesthetics of other extended slide releases. The Vickers is understated in looks, but works very well.

I'm such a believer in the slide release, I just ordered the mag release. I hope I am equally impressed. Even if I am half impressed, it will be a good buy.

I saw it elsewhere installed and really liked the profile of the mag release.

I'll be ordering a couple of these. It's by far my favorite slide release as well.

I'd probably go with the Factory one for production/stock pistol events.

The Top Glock one looks like it would do the job but the price is far too high compared to the Vickers.

Got my mag release and installed it yesterday. I'm mildly let down by it. I've found myself not liking the curvature of the control surface. I wish it was extended but had a flat surface to press on. When I depress the mag release, there is a definite pressure point on my thumb that gets irritated after repeated use. Call me a sissy, but I'm particular about my gun. I am now wanting to try one of the others from Top Glock or Rock Your Glock. Wish I knew someone with one that I could give one a test run.

How much further, if any, does the factory extended mag stick out compared to that of Top Glock and Rock Your Glock?
