    Hello.

    I am running five monitors off a VGA splitter, actually two splitters, and am experiencing ghosting on some of the monitors. The connection is as follows:

    VGA Card --> 4Port splitter #1

    4Port splitter #1 -->
    Port 1 --> 4Port splitter #2
    Port 2 --> 17" LCD

    4Port splitter #2 -->
    Port 1 --> 17" LCD
    Port 2 --> 17" LCD
    Port 3 --> 17" LCD
    Port 4 --> 17" LCD

    Port 1 on splitter #1 connects to splitter #2 through three (3) 15' VGA extension cables.

    Ports 1-4 connect to their monitors through two (2) 6' VGA cables each.

    All 5 LCDs are identical and are running 1280x1024 native resolution. The LCD connected directly to Port 2 of splitter #1 works fine, but the four connected to splitter #2 all show identical ghosting.

    I suspect I need to replace the three 15' VGA extensions with a single 50' cable, and would like to hear any suggestions anyone may have.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, GD. I replaced the cables with shielded ones and it fixed the problem.
