Concealed carry permits are a form of gun owner registration and will someday be used against us.

There should be a remedy to the Lautenberg Amendment prohibiting firearms ownership for anyone convicted one time of a Class A Misdemeanor Family Violence. I have seen 17 and 18 year olds who grow up after having fought one or both their parents have their lives ruined by being prohibited from military service after they turned their lives around two or three years later. Yes the law has merits but let each state decide if there can be a way to redeem yourself.

It's the VA dumping all the info into NICS. It started under Bill Klinton. Normally it has to be adjudicated that you are a danger to yourself or others to be stripped of your 2A rights (means a judge or equivelent has to be involved).

At the VA it's simply a bureaucrat paper hanger that is making these life altering decisions (with no regard as to the danger any vet really is). The VA should be ashamed. And punished.
