You guys probably get this all the time so I'll make it short. I just want to know how much velocity is lost with the shorter barrel of the Glock 29 in comparrison to the Glock 20.

    About 60fps on the average.

A whole lot less than if you carried a 23.

Like McNett said, I get about 55 to 60 ft/sec.

Do we get any back with a Bar-Sto stock lenghth(tiny bit longer) barrel? That would be nice to hear a yes to;) Maybe the rifling is an issue to though, maybe for the worse but either way, not a big loss:)

you might want to check my post in this thread. I was getting around 100 fps loss when compared to a full sized Colt Delta Elite.

Sorry, I no longer have a G20 to compare it to.

I guess I should of been more specific.

My only 10mm is a G29 and I was wondering what the difference is between a stock barrel and a Bar-Sto stock length barrel would be.

If any body knows I would appreciate the info.

I will search for it as well and edit this if need be:)

The only thing the bar-sto will do is Possibly improve accuracy, though i doubt it and have the ability to shool lead. if the length is increased fps will increase and energy transfered will increase slightly. Personally a waste of money for a bar-sto.

If you want to shoot the Glock -29 get some Double-Tap ammo Gold dot 155 grn. And hold on Recoil will have a new meaning! But accurate as all hell!
Would you like to pop 8 inch targets at 85 yards with a Glock-29...No problem!
