I'm looking at this Gen 2.5 G30 thats in perfect working condition, very clean internals, but has some noticeable holster wear.

Check the pic out and give me a ballpark value expected from a private seller. Includes 2 mags no box.
    Thanks in advance

In my area, that would be listed at 450.00-475.00 and eventually sell for 400.00-425.00.

My rule on used guns is

    Price new, divided by two.

I'd buy all the used G30 pistols I could find at $275 ($525 /2). Average price for a non-rail G30 in this condition is $425. Any lower than that and you're doing pretty good.

I don't "need" to buy but I wait for people who "need" to sell. The deal is all in my favor.

The best time is February and March. They buy new guns for the fall hunts, over spend for Christmas and when the January and February credit card bills come in they need to sell something.

Thanks guys! I'm actually thinking about trading a very lnib XD9 subcompact for the g30 and was just seeing if value was close between the two. Which looks to be a fair trade I suppose.

Bud's Gunshop and others sell the XD-9 subcompact brand spanking new w/free shipping for $425. An even trade would put you ahead.

Mine was a bit more than that local.
I've only put about 60 rounds down it and it shoots beautifully just wanting another glock is all lol.

I paid $400 for one in a bit better condition. I'd say you could probably get something in that ballpark.

Traded today. My XD was in near perfect condition and the G30 had alittle more holster wear on the slide than I thought but traded anyway. I just feel more comfortable with a glock in hand plus the appearance is less important than function and what feels/works for me. Will follow up after I put some rounds down it.....

Nothing wrong with it and it comes with "Charachter" already.
