Vacuum sealers---Can you boil-n-bag?

    And can you vac-seal meat with some cooking juices?

    Will the vac suck out the liquid if the bag is kinda laying on the table with the machine?

    Yea, you can boil-in-bag. Make sure you have a nice big pot so the water moves around the bag freely.

    It will want to pull the juices right out of the bag, which will prevent a good seal. Two ways to deal with that problem: Freeze it first - works unless there's liquor as part of the liquid. You can also bend the bag back on itself (just the top couple inches that you have in the machine). It will seal, but you won't get all the air out.
