Just about to pull the trigger on this (I think). I know its been updated a few times (P2000 & P30) but seems like it is ultra reliable and yet still modern. Any last minute "don't do its" or "something you need to think about first"? Can get one NIB for $699 which seemed competitive.

I love the usp line, kinda large for it's capacity but it is a great shooter. Only thing you may not like it hk's non standard rail, which of you aren't planning on sticking a light on the gun won't be a problem and if you want a light u can buy a gg&g adapter for it

Self delete on this thread. Went to the LGS and I cannot purchase the USP after handling the P30. Just too sweet.

Would you believe I bought the USP9 with four 15rd mags and Mepro NS for $450?

I've shot the P30 and it feels GREAT in hand, I like it alot, but I can shoot my USP9 just as well if not better. I'll never give up my USP 9 SD, I might add the p30 though...

    *sigh* That happens...

We were at the range (shooting USP), and I told my wife to come over and hold a P30 at the counter. she was like "I don't want to hold another gun. Whatever. They are all the same. How much better could it be than the USP?"

Once it hit her hand....her story was like "Oh. I bet I could shoot this REALLY well!"

It is my greatest desire to give her a P30 with a hard Chromed slide. So I can have my USP back....
