I've been sitting here thinking about my USP .40 that I sold and I find myself wanting another one. I just sold my Ed Brown 1911 and I was considering buying another high end target gun. I may just take the money and buy another HK USP (or two.)

I already have the following HK pistols:

    1. P30 DA/SA .40.

    2 USP .45 Compact.

    3. HK 45 Full Size

    4. P2000sk LEM .40.

Which HK pistol(s) should I add next. (The MK23 and USP 45 are out. Too big for my hands.)

    Thanks. :wavey:

A USPc 9mm a great 9mm. Or a .40 since i don't see any 9mm's you have. I sure like any USPc's the 9mm i think is a little smaller than your USPc .45...the HK45c i bet is HK's best seller or up there, good luck..

Or a Fullsize USP .40 as you had and a Compact..:wavey:

That is simple: A P7M8 or M13 of cause.
And I thought you were stuck on the SIG???

    I'd get a P7M8 or P7M13 as well.

Why sell an Ed Brown and get a plastic pistol? :headscratch:

I can see selling a 1911 for an HK. I'm in the process of doing it myself if I can get a fair price. I'm going to trade my XSE Commander that's been nothing but a PITA since I bought it about four moths ago trying to get it to run. Three different mags, stronger mag springs, different recoil spring extractor tension change, nothing has worked to make it 100%.

This was going to be my carry piece but not at that rate, I'm looking to trade it for a USP 9mm (full size) since I can't locate locally the compact version. They have one at the LGS but I'm not going to give it away with less than 500 rounds through it. I know the HK will work out of the box...my USP-C 45 sure does.

Not bad choices. Any idea where I can fine one or the other? I'm coming up with nothing!

Don't feel bad, I haven't figured that one out yet either!

Yes, I need to add another 9mm as I only have one right now. I'm looking at the full size USP's again and the full size P2000.

The HK 45c keeps calling my name though. :whistling:

If you CCW is the USPc 45 or the P2000SK, why not get a either a 9mm USPc or a full size P2000. The manual of arms for your new pistol would be the same as the pistols you carry now. As a benefit, the 9mm's would be cheaper to feed, so you get a new CCW that handles the same as your old CCW and you can train and shoot it more.

I've only had my P30 in hand now for a couple of weeks and I already have the Hk45c and the Hk45 calling my name as well as a second P30

If you like the USP and considering buying another high end target gun you should check out the USP Elite and Expert. They are discontinued and can be hard to find but worth the search especially if you like the USP. They show up on gunbroker and HKPRO occasionally.

I hate to break the news to you, but there's a big difference between an Ed Brown and a Colt.

A P7 would be fun, I've always wanted to try one. Probably not a great choice for carry though.

I think I'd go with a P2000 or 45c. Probably the 2000. It's like a smaller P30. I was thinking about getting one in .40 and getting a .357 Sig barrel for it but they're over $300! Insane. My only real gripe with the P2000 series is I think the barrels are rather short relative to the overall size of the gun. Not that big of a deal though.

Well, it's either between the USP .40 Compact or the P2000 .40.

I haven't decided on which one yet. I may just get both!

Well, I have a USP .40 compact on order. My shop couldn't get the P2000 right now. So, I guess I have to wait until the distributor gets more in. Oh well.

Maybe I'll end up with another full size USP .40 too. :whistling:
