Hello , I have been reading through threads and stickies and noticed that people have been getting scammed.
I for one do not like the feeling of not knowing the person on the other end of a deal and having to take a chance.
Now I know GT is a Vbulletin forum , on other forums there is a user feedback icon underneath each users name.
Users can give achother feedback on transactions in the FS/FT section.
I think this would curb the scamming/conning.

Another thing I wanted to ask about is the pictures in the for sale section.
Do you think it would be a good idea to make the seller include a picture of the item with a piece of paper displaying their user name in the picture with the item?

Well I hope these suggestions were of some sort of help to you guys:).

GT is more like the classifieds. Feel free to use an escrow service, or take ads without a pic with a grain of salt. I think the feedback thing has been suggested to Eric before and he hasn't gone for it.

When Eric changes over to the paid tier system, there will be feedback on each member who buys and sells items. This will be similar to what you see on eBay and GunBroker.

It's not a piad tier, it's paid tier system.

Eric is going to need support to keep Glock Talk self sufficient. You are still going to be able to be a member for free. There are just going to be extra things for people that want to help him out with paying a membership. There may be 3 or 4 different tiers, or levels of membership.

The more you pay, the more you'll get. Along with those changes, will be a feedback on buyers and sellers on the forum.

Hope that clears it up a bit for you.

Oh alright, that sounds great.
I would be more than willing to pay for use of GT.
I have learned more from this website in the past 3 months then I learned from years of range days and multiple shop owners.
Would you happen to know what the price points are going to be?

Eric will let everyone know when he's ready to start the program. Sit tight, should be soon...
