Okay. After we gather a bunch of links, I can edit my original post to have a whole list there. Cool.

Agree Hwyhobo, the forum section on the Digital Photography Review is most useful to answer specific questions on your brand and type of camera. It also spotlights problem areas which abound in digital cameras. Different problems than film cameras.

In reading the Nikon D70 SLR section I discovered that this $1299 camera has "backfocus" problems. The Canon Pro 1 has low light autofocus problems, and so on.

Unlike firearms, the longer you wait the lower in price it becomes and the product is improved.

Some sites have critical information not found elsewhere like the second from the bottom of the list and battery university.

The first listed site is the most infomative overall for digital photography. Their forums are the Glock Talk of the digital photo world.

    Thanks CheesyD.

The bythom and ken rockwell sites are valuable info sources for Nikon shooters like me. (I also shoot Canon digital).

The more I read the more I find that the digital products have big problems which I hope will be cured with research and competition.
It is a whole new ballgame from film. Although great things have been done in digital, film still rules for quality at least for now from what I can see.

Flim is by far the best format, the best thing about the digital age is that it drove the cost down on the so called outdated SLR, I have been able to buy some nice stuff on ebay

Thanks for all the good information.
I am going to try to get some more photography
done. I just got a fixed 85mm 1.8D Nikkor and
    24mm 2.8D Nikkor. Hopefully I will get a chance
to shoot some more pics sometime soon.
    I am a Nikon guy...

I found a really good site through the dpreview.com forums. This site can help you choose a good bag to carry your camera. It has pictures and reviews from other users to help you decide. Here's the link. CamBags.com ;c
