Suppose I buy a used Glock with the hard trigger set up (NY-2) and I want to return it to standard specs or maybe the lighter trigger pull. Is this do-able for a noobie? Thanks...

If you can change a doorknob in your house, you can work on your Glock.

Check out the site below. I've used the info there to change the trigger, slide release, and take apart the slide.

When I got finished, I didn't have any parts left over and it still went BANG!!

I think changing a doorknob is harder. On your first try you could change out a connector and/or trigger spring in 5-15 minutes including the time it takes to find and read the instructions on the internet.
