Alright Glockers, I have a friend of mine who is wanting to trade. He wants my Gen 4 Glock 27 Standard Sights, in return he will trade me a G22 Gen 3, Night sights, 3 Magazines, 2 10 rd G23 Magazines, a box of 50 rd Ranger SXT (Black Talon, they have the black coating on the rounds) and $50 cash.

I don't want a G22. I'd only do this for the resale value. I can get another G27 for 400 new or I may get a G30 Gen 4 (When released). I simply have to find a buyer at a price that makes the trade worth the time and effort.

What do you guys/gals, think?

Sounds like you might just want to hang on to your G27. If you're just gonna buy another one.

He's a ****** if he's giving you G23 mags and you don't have one. They won't work on a G22. Pending what sights they are and how old I'd trade. I like G22's though, so YMMV.

I have a G23, which he is aware of. If I purchased it, I'd want to sell the G22/Night sights/3 Mags + 2 G23 mags for $500.00. If I could do that, it would be worth the effort. But is that a reasonable price I wonder. Here is a photo of what he is offering, excluding the ammo.

G22 are the most traded in LE model around me, so they go for less than other models. I can get a gen 3 G22 with NS 2 mags for less than 400 OTD, not sure how your area is. If you look around and can wait on a deal can get them more mid 300s if your lucky.

Not a bad deal ...If you wanted the G22 but to find a buyer maybe a hassle?? Unless you are use to selling firearms. Me I wouldn't. But the $50 cash is like buying a G27 for $350 = your price. You may come out ahead in the long run??

I will ponder it. You all make valid points. If it were a Gen 4, I'd probably take it and keep it because I do favor the 4rth Gen over the 3rd. I probably won't do it. I really do dig my G27 and plan on getting my permit soon, which is the entire reason why I bought the gun in the first place.
